In a private yoga session, we will discuss any physical limitations or restrictions & focus on areas you wish to improve or strengthen. We can find a pace & style that best suits you. A private session is great for those that would like to have more direct help with assisting/adjustments & more teaching rather than leading. You will learn proper form, pranayama techniques & what poses will best benefit you & your unique needs.
Vinyasa Flow
Derived from Ashtanga yoga, vinyasa flow synergistically combines the power of breath with movement. The class begins with a warm up before proceeding to more vigorous postures & sequences. This is a great style of yoga if you are looking to feel stronger & more energized.
Gentle Flow
Gentle flow yoga is designed to ease your body into the practice. Ideal for beginners or for those who enjoy a slower paced class. Gentle flow utilizes breath work to help you sink deeper into each pose. This class provides intentional poses to meet the body where it's at.
Chakra Balancing
Chakra balancing yoga aims to realign your energy centers throughout the body. It is great for those experiencing issues with stability, creativity, self image, emotions, communication, lack of clarity or disconnection. This yoga style helps to harmonize your energy through purposeful breath work, postures & meditation.
Pranayama
Pranayama is the sanskrit term for breathwork. Breath work is just as important as being able to perform the asanas (poses). Yoga without breath work is only exercise. Pranayama will be included in every session, or can be a stand alone session for those who wish to expand their knowledge of breathing techniques. Breath work can calm the mind, reduce stress, increase focus & energy levels, and even promote immune system function.
