Hello everyone & welcome. I am Katherine Anderson, the owner of Anāhata Yoga & Massage. In 2022, while trying to determine if I wanted to continue my college education, I spontaneously decided to attend massage therapy school. I studied at Everyday Bliss Yoga & Massage in Waukesha, WI & graduated in July of 2023. I have been practicing massage for about 2 years now!
In February of 2025, I enrolled myself into a 200 hour Ashtangasana yoga teacher training program with remarkable instructor, Wendy Yanke. I fell so deeply in love with the philosophy & principles of yoga that I decided to complete the 300 hour training as well. By October 2025, I will be a 500 hour registered yoga teacher!
In May of 2025, I explored the power of movement through the art of Sarga Silks bodywork with respectable massage champion, Tracey Windmill. This education has broadened the way I approach massage & given me more creativity within my work.
Which brings us to now. Let's be honest, the two worst parts of getting a massage are first, flipping over and second, having to get up when it's over. The convenience of an in home massage allows you to take your time. There is no rushing out the door or getting in a car to drive somewhere. You can simply take your time and soak in the benefits of the massage longer. That's why I've decided to start my own travel business, to better service my community from the comfort of home. I can't wait to work with you and aid you on your path to well-being!

What is the significance/meaning of Anāhata?
Anāhata is the sanskrit word for the heart chakra. The heart chakra represents love, empathy, compassion for others, peace & inner harmony. Which are all characteristics I aim for my work to translate as. Meaningful, empathetic & compassionate care!
